Q&A WITH AMERICAN NINJA  by Hoprah

The following interview was conducted the night of SGA Elections, April 6th 2004. 8:48pm.

Q: Who is the man behind the mask?

A:There isn't a man behind the mask, rather, a mask behind the man.

Q: Is there a Mrs. American Ninja?

A: Not as of yet. No. But I cannot claim to be a bachelor either.

Q: There are rumors going around that your sidekick Ricky Butterworth and yourself...how should I say this, sheath each others katanas?

A: Why that's absurd! Ricky Butterworth and I are merely partners in crime fighting...a dynamic duo...a team. We're barely even friends!

Q: Right.

A: Next question, please.

Q: Has Robox's family contacted you?

A: Ah, yes, Robox. You see, Robox...was pure evil and he was a robot. Thus, he had no family. (At this point The Divine Hoprah informed American Ninja that Robox did in fact have relatives, a family of robots and machines to look after.) Yes...well...Robox was bad. Very, very bad.

Q: So you're saying he deserved to be destroyed?

A: Um...no. Hoprah, you see, bollocks, Robox's family filed a civil suit against me and Ricky. We quietly settled it out of court.

Q: What do you think about fish?

A: I enjoy sushi on occasion.

Q: Who are your fighting idols?

A: I would have to say, hmmm, Bruce Lee and I watch a lot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer so Buffy is deffinitely an influence.

Q: What do you say to the people who call you a, for lack of a better term, fraud?

A: Fraud? I have not heard of these attacks.

Q: Yes. People claim that you are no more than just an invention of a bored college student. You dont' really fight crime, or protect the world from evil. You're just a character in a TV series. What do you have to say to those claims?

A: Complete and total hogwash. I am no fraud. I nearly lost an arm in our battle with Devil Soap. I risk my life everyday for these strangers. I fight for truth and justice. I am the American Ninja and I am here to save the day!

(At this point in the interview American Ninja was called to the set to begin filming another episode of his series.  He was supposed to return shortly after filming his scene but he never returned. He vanished.)
